Dennis Patterson

Tim Healy has an
extensive stage and screen listing. From even when I was
very young, I can remember always recognising him from Auf
Wiedersehen, Pet, even though at the time, I was not a very
big fan of the show. Tim's latest appearance was as a butler
in a posh hotel in a series called 'The Grande'. This was a
low key series, and it only had a short run of episodes, but
it did score a hit with the TV critics. Tim is a very
versatile performer, playing both heroes and villans. He
recently appeared in the TV series 'Cracker' with Robbie
Coltrane, as the father of a troubled teenager in a story
called 'One day a lemming will fly'. He also recently
appeared in the British comedy series 'The Detectives' with
Jasper Carrott and Robert Powell( See picture ). In this he
played boxing club manager Ronnie Goodall, who was supplying
his boxers with a testosterone type of drug to boost their
aggression and win all of their fights. The side effects of
this drug being increased growth of body hair, and a huge
increase in 'the size of the male sexual organ'. If you get
the chance to see this episode (episode name:'Sparring
Partners'), then do so, as it is very funny. He also got to
take part in another comedy drama series recently, by
playing 'Foxy', the ill fated dust man in "Common as Muck",
again playing a Geordie character. The only time he shed his
true Geordieness was in an Australian set comedy drama "Boys
from the bush".
