Kevin Whatley
has been another one of AufPets rip roaring successes.
Almost immediately after AufPet finished, Central Television
kept him on the payroll as Detective Sergeant Lewis,
alongside John Thaw, in the infamous series "Inspector
Morse". This brought him nationwide recognition, which has
rubbed off on television producers. Another television
series that he excelled in was Peak District set medical
drama 'Peak Practice', where he played a Geordie doctor, who
had returned from working in Africa to set up a practice in
England. His recent attempt at a sit-com, a turkey farm set
series, called 'Gobble', though was not as successful. Kevin
has always been typecast in good guy role, so it was a
refreshing, if disturbing, change, to see him as a psychotic
violent wife beater, in the recent made-for-television film
'Trip Trap', which was highly acclaimed by critics. Kevin is
currently starring in'Pure Wickedness' on BBC 1
