Below is the
Star Inn in Beeston, better known as the Bel and Dragon.
Before anyone emails me to tell me that I have spelled
'Bell' wrong, I haven't. At one time Bel & Dragon was a
popular pub name. It refers to a Bible character called
Daniel who defeated both a Dragon and a demon called 'Bel'. The
Star Inn can be found in Beeston on Middle Street.
This is the Hop
Pole Inn in Beeston. In Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, this was used
for the filming of the Spanish bar, where the lads examined
their plates and realised they had been conned. The pub has
been completely refurbished since and is no longer
recognisable.
Again in Beeston
is Hazels flat. To maintain the privacy of the owners, I
cannot give it's address.
