This is the
phone box that Dennis referred to to Sgt. Ives as his
'little office'. It is the village of Knipton, nr. Redmile.
The building next to the phone box is the village shop where
Neville met Sir James for the first time.
Also in Knipton
is the bus stop where the lads bid farewell to MaGuirke (The
Ghost).
Filming also
took place inside the village shop and post offiice, where
Neville made the accquaintance of the local land owner Sir
James Palmer.
Around the
corner from the village shop is the building that was used
as the local bobby, Sgt. Ives', house, and the 'Why are you
annoying my dog?' Garden gate.
Here is where we
saw Barry and Oz get collared by Jessop for poaching trout
from Sir James' land. This is the market place in Bingham,
close to the Redmile, home of The Windmill (Barley Mow) Inn.
